Shona is an experienced economic development professional with 15+ years’ experience in the public and private sectors. In this time, she has delivered projects across a number of core economic development areas, with a particular focus on employability & skills, inward investment, green and circular economies and Community Wealth Building.
Shona has excellent research, consultation and reporting skills, is extremely skilled at workshop design and facilitation, and builds strong and effective stakeholder relationships. With significant experience of service delivery in a range of communities, Shona also has a thorough understanding of person-centred approaches to service design and delivery.
She is experienced at working on projects across all levels of government and government agencies, be this local, regional or national; and across public, private and third sectors. She has extensive expertise in supporting regional partnerships in economic development strategy and delivery, and has a sound understanding of the Scottish and UK Government policy landscape.
