The UK Government’s flagship Pride in Place (PiP) initiative for community-empowered neighbourhood renewal represents a major shift towards devolving power and long-term investment directly to local communities.
As part of the Pride in Place Strategy, the PiP Programme builds on the Plan for Neighbourhoods pilot programme to support communities to fund a local regeneration plan to deliver sustainable change over the long term. The programme targets areas with the highest need, providing hyper-local, community-scale geographic focus, directing resources to grassroots economic and social challenges.
At GC Insight, we support clients and communities to develop robust and compelling plans in response to funding opportunities, help them to prioritise activity aligned to need and opportunity, secure investment, and monitor and evaluate progress.
