Greater Manchester Visitor Economy Baseline

GC Insight was commissioned by Marketing Manchester to develop an interactive dashboard to provide an overview of the visitor economy in the city region, to be used in the development of the Greater Manchester Visitor Economy Strategy.

This included insights around visitor occupation rates, employment in the sector, visitors entering the city region via the airport and findings on international visitor destination origin and spend. Producing this in the form of an interactive dashboard has allowed for a dynamic tool that is readily updated and can be easily utilised by the Marketing Manchester Team and their partners as they progress with the development of their visitor economy strategy.
