In partnership with the Oxford to Cambridge Partnership, GC Insight led a multi-disciplinary team to develop a compelling value proposition for the region in a bid to attract greater global investment into the UK.
The team developed a comprehensive index of assets capturing local strength and opportunities drawing on published data, innovative research and consultation insight which informed a strong economic narrative in the prospectus. This evidence base was incorporated into the region’s Oxford to Cambridge Data Observatory including the Oxford to Cambridge Partnership Area Socio-economic Data Dashboard.
Working extensively with the Partnership and the Department for Business and Trade, the team engaged with the region’s stakeholders to create a digital atlas of projects and strategic collaborations with the Oxford to Cambridge region to match with prospective investors. The final prospectus tells the global story of the region’s R&D and innovation strengths as a science and technology supercluster that is creating healthier lives and a more sustainable planet.
