GC Insight designed a long-term business support program, utilising 10-year funding provided by Sizewell C to East Suffolk Council, to maximise the opportunities from the construction of Sizewell C, one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe.
We specifically:
Analysed business needs to assess and understand the current and anticipated impacts of the Sizewell C project on East Suffolk businesses
Conducted an in-depth analysis of existing economic and environmental assessments of Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C
Created an analysis of supply chain and workforce implications and used Growth Flag to examine the East Suffolk business base
Held extensive stakeholder and business consultations including the development of a bespoke online Sizewell C Business Readiness tool utilising Benchmark Index
Options development, testing and proposition development
We developed and mobilised a business support service that can respond in an agile way to the different construction phases and local business needs.
