Skills for All: A Strategy for Lifelong Learning and Education

In collaboration with Avison Young, we worked closely with Central Bedfordshire Council to develop a Strategy for Lifelong Learning and Education that reflects the dynamic nature of workforce change and educational opportunities in the area to support inclusive growth.

The strategy was underpinned by a comprehensive evidence base focusing on the detailed aspects of population and place, children and education, and skills and the labour market. Extensive stakeholder consultation took place involving employers, schools, colleges, community groups, children, parent representatives and other representative bodies as well as members of the council and senior local and regional officials.

GC Insight also led the development of an accompanying Equalities Impact Assessment to ascertain the impact of the strategy on priority groups.
