  • Identifying and mapping current activity in the area
  • Consulting with schools, colleges, pupils, parents/carers, funders, businesses and other organisations involved in delivery
  • Exploring best practice in other localities
  • Providing recommendations for more effective, efficient and impactful approaches to the delivery of extra-curricular/enrichment activities in the Furness area.

The report provides a detailed picture of the delivery of EC&E activities in Furness, providing a robust evidence base to inform policy making, guide funding decisions and support the development of future activity. There is significant opportunity to enhance and shape EC&E provision to meet the transformational opportunities presented by major investment in Furness to deliver sought after outcomes.
