Over a 21-month project, we developed and are trialling a supply chain assessment benchmarking diagnostic tool, aimed at driving performance improvement within the supply chains of SMEs in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Using the tool, we carried out supply chain assessments leading to an improvement plan designed to help SMEs across the island by enhancing their supply chain performance and/or increasing cross border trade.
Up to three days of bespoke cross-border supply chain consulting support is also being provided to 30 SMEs. This is being delivered by our partners The Discovery Partnership and Centre for Competitiveness.
We are producing a comprehensive evaluation report, which identifies and makes recommendations for further support of supply chain management development, including online learning and content.
