We helped Derby City Council to secure £20 million of investment from the Levelling Up Fund to redevelop the former Assembly Rooms site, creating a new learning theatre to rejuvenate the area.

With the site sitting empty since 2014, the plans represent a major step forward in Derby’s vision for a vibrant Civic and Cultural Quarter and regeneration of the city centre. With links to Derby University, the new theatre will provide opportunities for formal learning and community engagement, as well as attracting new visitors and spend into the heart of Derby.
