Good quality, accessible early learning and childcare (ELC) is key to enabling parents and carers to participate in education, learning and employment. It also makes a vital contribution to improving the outcomes for children and supporting vulnerable families.
ekosgen works extensively across ELC: for example, we developed the prospectus for the ELC Skills Investment Plan for Scotland, which has been central to ensuring that there is a skilled and sufficient workforce and pipeline, and that it is increasingly diverse and inclusive. This has been followed up with regular commissions to update the evidence base.
