We were commissioned to provide research and advisory services around the future economic vision for Holt Town – considered a missing piece of the jigsaw in terms of Manchester city centre’s regeneration.
Our team carried out a baseline review of the current economic position of the area, which is located between Ancoats, New Islington and the Etihad Campus. This included a study of the business base and economic assets, and accompanying SWOT assessment, based on desk-based analysis and a site visit.
We worked with the project steering group to develop a preferred option for development. This work will inform the next stage of Holt Town’s regeneration through a comprehensive Neighbourhood Development Framework delivered over the next decade.
