We developed South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority’s five-year strategy and implementation plan for Skills and Labour Markets.
The strategy is the first time the region has established inclusive growth and progression opportunities for everyone.
Over an eight-month project led by Kada Research during 2022/23, our team worked with local authorities, colleges and learners to generate analysis and determine the changes necessary to deliver jobs and skills across the whole of South Yorkshire.
We identified key levers for sustaining SYMCA’s economic strengths, and uncovered new opportunities for growth, including those presented by the transition towards net zero.
