Work Placement Opportunities

The students will support the GC Insight team to deliver research projects, supporting with administrative and research tasks. While the exact roles will depend on the projects at the time, the placement could cover:

  • Working with the team delivering the Greater Manchester UK Shared Prosperity Fund evaluation project 
  • Support with developing reports, such as proof reading  
  • Online research and information gathering  
  • Basic data analysis using excel  
  • Work shadowing across a variety of projects

The placements will take place between January and March 2025 and take the form of:

  • A single block of time of up to a fortnight; or  
  • 1-2 days a week, up to 10 days, across this period.  

You must be able to do some part of the placement at one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Glasgow.

The work placement will be unpaid, however we are able to provide reasonable travel costs.
